Sunmor Estates Midcentury Home Tour
$75 (2.5 hrs)
The residents of Sunmor Estates welcome you to step back in time to a remarkably intact collection of midcentury modern homes. Constructed in the late ‘50s and early ‘60s, the Sunmor neighborhood is a unique showcase of homes constructed by four iconic modern-era builders. The 2024 tour will include homes designed by William Krisel, Don Wexler and Developers Smith & Rapport. Sunmor is the site of the old Palm Springs Airport and Army Airfield where you can still see tie down pads used to anchor military planes during World War II.
This walking/driving tour will feature the interiors and landscapes of at least six (6) homes. More information about the Sunmor Neighborhood can be found at Sunmor Estates.
Proceeds of this tour will benefit the Neuro Vitality Center and go to neighborhood quality of life improvements.
