Marrakesh Country Club: John Elgin Woolf’s Desert Masterpiece

Perfectly sited and surrounded by mountain views, Marrakesh Country Club—developed by legendary pioneer Johnny Dawson—is a place like no other. The 364 villas, all painted the color of a desert sunset, surround an 18 hole executive golf course. Constructed between 1969 and 1979, these homes are a classic example of the Hollywood Regency style Woolf perfected. The tour includes 6 pink houses, each one unique unto itself, yet all modern and elegant. After the tour guests will enjoy a cocktail reception with hors d’oeuvres and music performed live by a Bossa Nova band in the Marrakesh Clubhouse, recently renovated by renowned interior designer Tom Scheerer.

Things to Know
There are six (6) homes on this tour.
Please no food, drinks, pets or smoking in homes.
This event is for ages 12 and older.
Must be 21 years of age or older to be served alcoholic beverages, I.D. is required.
Photography is at the discretion of the homeowner.
Bathrooms in homes are not available for use, however restrooms available in the clubhouse.
Please drink and drive responsibly.
Parking available in the clubhouse parking lot.
Guests will be shuttled via golf carts to the homes and clubhouse.
Reception following the home tour will include cocktails, hors d'oeuvres and live music.
