Don’t you want to have a blast at a party like the characters in the Shag painting? Well, this martini party is the one for you! Join world-renowned artist Josh Agle (Shag) for The Mammoth Martini Party–a Shag-tastic house party inspired by his 17-color, hand-pulled, silk-screened serigraph of the same name. Life will imitate art as we celebrate Modernism Week and the martini.
This swinging soirée will feature a custom music playlist curated by Shag, mid mod-inspired bites, classic cocktails and a premium martini bar provided by Kastra Elion. This fully immersive experience will make visitors feel like they have climbed into a life-size Shag painting. Shag has drawn upon his architectural studies and the aesthetic of his artwork to reimagine this classic 1958 home, originally designed by Desert Modern architects Palmer & Krisel for the Alexander Construction Company.
Dress in your Mid-Mod best. Lampshades and Shriner caps are absolutely encouraged.
