Charles shares the glories and stories of legendary landmark homes and hotels in all the historic neighborhoods, including Vista Las Palmas, Movie Colony, Twin Palms and more. Marvel at Elvis’ “House of Tomorrow” hideaway and the famed “Twin Palms” estate of Frank Sinatra. He also dishes on his favorite local restaurants, resorts, bars, boutiques, and other not to be missed local attractions in Palm Springs.
Charles Phoenix is an entertainer, author, tour guide, and food crafter. His live retro slide show performances, “field trip” tours, “test kitchen” creations, coffee table books and social media celebrate classic and kitschy American life and style, past and present.
Things to Know
Check-in is in the Hyatt at CAMP. Bus Tours will depart from the Hyatt Hotel's rear entrance on Belardo Road. Ample public parking is available in the nearby parking structure.
Arrive at least 30 minutes prior to tour departure time to check-in and get your boarding pass.
Boarding is 10 minutes before departure. If you have not checked in, your seat may be sold to a stand-by guest.
Bus tours will depart on time.
Latecomers cannot be accommodated.
Seating: Tickets are for upper deck only.
Hats and sunscreen are highly recommended for sun exposure.
Wheelchair accessible for lower deck only.
