Join us for the first Modernism Week Twilight Tour of 2023 celebrating the 11th year of illuminating architecturally significant buildings. Modernism Week co-founder and chairman, William Kopelk - the driving force behind the Modernism Week illumination project - will be joining your tour guide to co-host a tour of the downtown area. When we arrive at the Palm Springs Visitor Center we will disembark and participate in the ceremonial lighting of the Albert Frey designed 1965 Tramway Gas Station (now the Visitor Center) by Palm Springs Mayor, Grace Garner.
 
This effort for new permanent lighting was led by Palm Springs Modern Committee (PSMODCOM) and was supported by members of the Palm Springs preservation community. We will reboard the bus to return to CAMP driving past other illuminated buildings as we light up the 2023 Twilight Tours!

Things to Know
Bus tours depart promptly.
Please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to tour departure time to exchange your ticket for a boarding pass.
Boarding is 10 minutes before departure. If you have not checked in, your seat may be sold to a stand-by guest.
Late comers cannot be accommodated.
Seating: Tickets are for upper deck only.
Hats and sunscreen are highly recommended for sun exposure.
Wheelchair accessible for lower deck only.
Prohibited: Alcoholic beverages, smoking, vaping, food, glass containers, and pets.
This event is EXTERIOR VIEWS ONLY.
This tour is for all ages.
Free parking is available on the street and at nearby public parking garages.
