Tom O’Donnell: Generous Spirit of Palm Springs
Free (1 hr)
Steve Vaught, Tracy Conrad, and Steven Keylon, all published authors and experts on local history, will join forces once again, to introduce you to philanthropist Tom O’Donnell, one of the most extraordinary and transformative figures in the history of Palm Springs. The lecture will chronicle Tom’s incredible journey from lowly oilfield roughneck to industry giant and how he used those same talents to help transform Palm Springs from a sleepy little village into an internationally renowned resort. Palm Springs would barely be on the map today without the contributions of Tom O’Donnell. This lecture is in conjunction with the release of PSPF’s newest tribute journal, Tom O’Donnell: Generous Spirit of Palm Springs, by Steve Vaught, Steven Keylon, and Tracy Conrad.
