CAMP Opening Day Ribbon Cutting and Special Announcement Celebration

Please be our guest, as we commemorate the 2023 Grand Opening of Modernism Week's CAMP (“Community And Meeting Place”) inside the dramatic and beautifully designed Hyatt Palm Springs, conveniently located on Palm Canyon Drive with free underground parking.

The Opening Day festivities will begin with live music, refreshments and entertainment at 9:00 a.m. At 10:00 a.m., Modernism Week Board of Directors and City of Palm Springs Officials for the ribbon cutting and special dedication at 10 a.m.

At 10:15 a.m., William Kopelk, Modernism Week's Board Chairman will welcome and introduce officials from the City of Beverly Hills and share the excitement for the new partnership between the City of Beverly Hills and MADE. The inaugural MADE in Beverly Hills will be May 4-7, 2023. 

After the day kicks off with exciting celebratory fanfare, the party continues all day long with special prizes and Modernism Week ticket giveaways, food and drink specials, and more musical performances curated by Jazzville.

CAMP is Modernism Week’s headquarters and serves as a daily central hub of activity that is free and open to the public every day during Modernism Week from February 16 – 26, 2023. CAMP will include daily live and DJ entertainment, talks and films in the theater, an information desk, the Modernism Week store by Destination PSP, morning Koffi beverages, all day food, drinks and specialty cocktails by Cheeky's, book signings, and free daily Professional Color Consultations by Dunn-Edwards. There will be fun photography settings and special guest appearances through the week. Modernism Week sponsors will have engaging displays including Ferguson Bath, Kitchen & Lighting Gallery, Brizo, Dunn-Edwards Paints, JennAir, and more. CAMP will be open daily during Modernism Week from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. with free entry.

This event is for all ages.
Ample free public parking is available. Enter at Hyatt on Palm Canyon Drive or in the multi-level public garage across from the Palm Springs Art Museum.
Handicap parking is available. This event is wheelchair accessible.
