Racquet Club Cottages West – William Cody’s 1960 Gemstone

After a 3-year hiatus, William F. Cody’s 1960 Racquet Club Cottages West is once again open to the public for tours.

This community of homes is a desert oasis with 37 private homes that surround a lush garden with a meandering stream that runs through it. The property’s pool, cabana, and community area has been newly restored to its original splendor, and this will be the first time it will be available for viewing.

Cody designed delicate concrete block screen walls for privacy and flexible units that could be combined or rented separately. Visit a selection of homes and experience the community poolside. Learn about the property’s connection to the adjacent Palm Springs Racquet Club and its history of Hollywood celebrity homeowners.

There are eight (8) homes on this tour.
This tour is for ages 12 and older.
There is ample street parking.
Photography is at the discretion of the homeowner.
Private homes are not ADA accessible.
There are some interior and exterior steps.
Please no pets, food or smoking allowed in homes.
Bathrooms in homes are not available.
