Hidden Cody Tennis Club Villas
$65 (1 hr) — 6 homes on this tour
"What's behind the gates", you ask? Now you can come see the "Hidden" Cody Tennis Club Villas. Explore these William F. Cody designed midcentury homes, nestled next to the historic Palm Springs Tennis Club and legendary Spencer's restaurant.
Built in the mid-1960s, the thirteen original homes included a model home decorated by the preeminent interior designer, Arthur Elrod. Cody's brilliant architecture takes full advantage of the spectacular mountain views with each home having a very unique floor plan. Exteriors of the homes feature dramatic local stonework, flat roof lines, and lush landscaping. Each of the six homes open has been fabulously renovated and designed, including one featured in Palm Springs Life magazine.
Homeowners and designers, including a nationally acclaimed designer, will be available to discuss their renovations and answer questions. Each home has distinctive midcentury furnishings, notable original artwork, and spaciously renovated backyards.
Proceeds from this tour will be used to maintain and preserve the pristine condition of our midcentury complex, including investments in the pools and lush landscaping.
