Hi-Sun After Dark Cocktail Party

Join us for a swinging Saturday night poolside cocktail party at the Modernism Week Featured Home, affectionately named by its owners, “Hi-Sun.” This spectacular home in a dramatic setting at the foot of Mt. San Jacinto was designed by Charles Du Bois and built by the Alexander Construction Company in 1963 as the model home for the Las Palmas neighborhood’s Summit Estates development. Now this historical home is the personal residence of Kevin Kemper and Howard Hawkes of H3K Home+Design. They have immaculately restored and remodeled the home to recreate its original 60s Hawaiian flair and other original midcentury modern design features. Come celebrate with us as Kevin and Howard open their doors for an evening of entertainment. Enjoy classic cocktails under the stars or inside by the vintage stone fireplace. Hors d’oeuvres and fresh-made tropical treats will be served by Liquid for all to enjoy.
