Beyond the Gates of Seven Lakes Golf & Country Club Home & Walking Tour
$95 (2 hrs)
Discover the "Gem of the Desert" at Seven Lakes Golf and Country Club, an iconic 1960s community designed by the renowned architect Richard Harrison of Wexler/Harrison. This expansive community, consisting of 341 homes, was originally promoted for its "serenity, privacy, and carefree living." Today, Seven Lakes continues to be revered for its distinctive midcentury design, featuring walls of glass and shadow block galore.
The tour begins with check-in at the iconic William Cody-designed clubhouse, located just beyond the guarded gates. From there, guests will stroll across the lush grounds and the Ted Robinson-designed 18-hole executive course, famously known as the spot where President Eisenhower hit his only hole-in-one. Spanning 120 acres, Seven Lakes boasts 15 large swimming pools and offers spectacular views of the San Jacinto mountains.
During the tour, guests will have the opportunity to visit a specially curated selection of homes. These 7 dazzling interiors epitomize midcentury style while showcasing the unique personal touches of each owner. Each home will inspire you with the many facets of Palm Springs Modernism. The day concludes poolside, offering a perfect end to a true midcentury moment in time.
