Details

You are invited to an extraordinary night at the renowned Max Palevsky residence. Designed in 1968 by Craig Ellwood and completed in 1970, this architectural masterpiece is seldom open to the public. To celebrate Modernism Week’s 20th Anniversary, indulge in an exquisite multi-course dinner with perfectly curated wine pairings, crafted by award-winning chef Tara Lazar, of Mr. Lyons, Cheeky's, and Birba fame. Feast like Palm Springs royalty in an intimate gathering of Modernistas, where midcentury charm meets a feast of culinary delights.

The private estate, located in the exclusive Little Tuscany area, offers sweeping panoramic views across the valley and stands as a testament to Craig Ellwood’s signature style and vision. Max Palevsky, a legendary tech pioneer, art collector, and philanthropist, commissioned the home, symbolizing Modernist elegance and creativity.

Filled with an extraordinary collection of 20th-century art and furnishings, the original family has lovingly maintained this immaculately preserved home. For this unforgettable evening, members of the Palevsky family will join the dinner, offering personal insights and stories about one of Palm Springs' most elegant Modernist homes—14 guests will experience a rare opportunity to experience its beauty and history firsthand.

Please join fellow architecture and fine dining aficionados to celebrate Palm Springs' finest expressions of design, art, and cuisine. Your support of this event will benefit Modernism Week’s scholarship fund. Modernism Week is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.
