Passionate Home Preservation: Inside and Out
Free, Ticket Required. (1 hr)
This fascinating lecture by interior designer Bill Stewart of Stewart|Mohr Designs of Atlanta, chronicles selected highlights of his 30-plus years of highly successful professional work. Stewart has renovated and decorated the interiors of many historic properties in varied architectural vernaculars, including Spanish Revival, Streamline Moderne, midcentury Modern, and even Victorian. Stewart is known locally for his sensitive transformation of the modernist Haymond Residence (1964, Frey & Chambers), designated a Class 1 Historic Site during his ownership. During his lecture, Stewart will concentrate on his recent challenging renovation of the Spanish Revival style King Gillette Estate (1923) in the Mesa neighborhood.
PSPF will host a tour of the King Gillette Estate on Thursday, February 20, 2025.
