Opening Day Celebration at CAMP

Please be our guest, as we commemorate Modernism Week’s 20th Anniversary Opening Day Celebration at CAMP (“Community And Meeting Place”) inside the dramatic and beautifully designed Hyatt Palm Springs. All are welcome and invited to participate. Opening Day festivities will begin at 10:00 AM.
Join the Modernism Week Board of Directors, Staff, Volunteers and City of Palm Springs Officials for a ribbon cutting and special dedication inside the Hyatt atrium. Stay and enjoy our inviting hospitality areas at CAMP. Breakfast and lunch items will be available in our bar area. Later that evening, the Hyatt will offer free retro Rock & Roll at the HooDoo outdoor lounge from 6:00–9:00 PM
CAMP daily activities will include events, talks, films, an information desk, the Modernism Week store by Destination PSP, all day food and beverage offerings from Hyatt Hotel, a 20-year visual timeline of Modernism Week’s history and book signings. CAMP is also the ‘depot’ for arrivals and departures of all of Modernism Week’s Double Decker Architectural Bus Tours. Daily talks and presentations will be featured in the Modernism Week Theater at CAMP.
Two free ‘Friday Afternoon Fun’ events will take place each week featuring a themed costume contest and complimentary hors d’oeuvres. In addition, there will be many sponsor displays including Ferguson, Brizo, Dunn-Edwards Paints, Monogram and Flor.
CAMP will be open daily during Modernism Week, February 13-23 from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Free parking is available in the nearby underground parking structure.
