Morse House Tour

Welcome to a home tour of the iconic Morse Residence, the first in the Vista Las Palmas neighborhood to be designated a Class 1 Historic Site. You'll quickly see why this home is considered one of the finest in all of Palm Springs. This gem of midcentury modern design and glamorous entertaining served as inspiration for the “Water House” in Disney’s Incredibles 2 and has been featured in artwork by the artist Shag. Originally built in 1961 by the Alexander Construction Company and designed by the renowned architects Dan Palmer and William Krisel, the Morse Residence later underwent a complete renovation by the Hollywood architect Harold “Hal” Levitt. Known for designing luxurious homes for Hollywood’s elite, as well as the iconic Riviera Hotel in Las Vegas, Levitt left his mark here with a redesign that makes this property truly one-of-a-kind. 

You’ll be intrigued by the home’s sleek midcentury modern exterior with white terrazzo walkways as you approach its impressive entry gallery. Vintage terrazzo continues throughout the home, from the floors and showers to the bar, countertops, and patio deck, creating a cohesive design statement.
