Frey House II Tour + Museum Day Passes

Frey House II is recognized as an outstanding example of modernist architecture. Architects, scholars, and students from around the world come to Palm Springs to study and appreciate Albert Frey’s work. His unique understanding of function, form, practicality, and love for the desert landscape combine to provide us this extraordinary legacy.

Hosted by Palm Springs Art Museum, these self-guided tours are a rare opportunity to see the residence of Modernist architect Albert Frey.

A shuttle van will transport ticket holders to the Frey House II from Palm Springs Art Museum’s Aluminaire parking lot on the south side of the museum.

Tickets can also be used for free admission to both the Palm Springs Art Museum and the Architecture & Design Center from October 24–31, 2024 any day except the days the museum is closed. Please check the museum website at psmuseum.org for hours of operation. Access to the Aluminaire House exterior grounds is free during business hours.

A twilight tour and bubbly for a limited number of guests at Frey II is available at 4:00 PM each evening. This tour is for ages 21 and older.

Things to Know
Ticket holders who do not check-in at the registration table 15 minutes prior their scheduled tour time, may lose their seats on the shuttle van.
The expected time for the tour, including the shuttle, is 30 to 40 minutes. 
Please plan accordingly. Events will be occurring in and around the museum, and parking will be congested.
A shuttle van will transport ticket holders from the check in table located in the Aluminare Parking lot on the Southside of the Palm Springs Art Museum.
There is no other way to access the Frey House II; maximum occupancy is limited to seats on the shuttle van.
Frey House II is not ADA accessible and commercial photography is not permitted.
No food or beverages permitted.
Tours are open to children 10 years of age and older, and all children must be accompanied by an adult.
The Twilight tour is for ages 21 and older.
