Details
Don’t miss this lively afternoon of fashion by the pool as we celebrate Modernism in true Palm Springs style. Wear your favorite caftan as you mix and mingle with jet-setting modernists and fashionistas from around the globe during this very special poolside soirée at The Shag House. This fully immersive experience will celebrate the history of the caftan as a staple of midcentury fashion.

Enjoy sparkling beverages and gourmet canapés as you tour this, very special circa 1958, midcentury home that was originally designed by Desert Modern architects Palmer and Krisel for the Alexander Construction Company. The artist Shag has drawn upon his architectural studies and the aesthetic of his artwork to rescue and totally reimagine this classic property so that visitors will feel as though they have climbed into a life-size Shag painting.
