Sustainable Homes Tour
$75 (6 hrs) — there are 7 homes on this tour.
The Sustainable Homes Tour is a self-driving tour of some of the High Desert's most "eco" homes. Attendees will have access to private residences not normally open to the public, where they will be able to view homes powered by the sun, and in most cases are completely off-grid. Talk to the owners about their process of building the homes or what it's like to live off-grid or sustainably. Get tips and tricks for your next project, or just an idea of where the future of self-sustainable dwellings is heading.
Watch on-demand content on the Home Tour's website to kick off the tour. Each tour has a new video and October's video will feature an interview with Scott Leonard talking about the iconic Doolittle House and his journey to try and make it more sustainable. With this wealth of information, walk away from the tour with renewed inspiration, knowledge and a passion for sustainable living.
