The Oasis Is Real: Home Tour

The Organized Neighborhoods of Palm Springs, ONE-PS, presents a self-guided tour into five homes in the historic neighborhoods of Sunrise Park, Tennis Club, Racquet Club West and Canyon Corridor. These gems were selected for their playful design, famous architectural lines, unique pools, landscapes and a host of famous owners, visitors and builders who put the sparkle in the oasis that is Palm Springs’ history.
Bette Davis enjoyed frequent, gossip-filled retreats on the ¾ acre grounds of Villa Verde. The gorgeous Knott’s Landing Estate was built for the Knott’s family of Knott’s Berry Farm fame. The Jazz House was designed by William Krisel, built by Alexander Construction Co. and it became a rare trifecta when Hugh Kaptur joined the party to design the casita. All three homes have been recently reimagined and are making their debut on tour.
You’ll recognize Canyon View Estates as the place where the exterior home shots in the movie Don’t Worry Darling were filmed. This condo, with a bachelor pad vibe was curated with all the things that made midcentury design fun.
Casa Amado was originally built for the Sherman family, of Sherman’s Deli fame. The clean lines and rich wood throughout the home put the “modern” in a beautiful midcentury house.
Meet the homeowners and hear the stories their homes have to tell in this very personal tour from the heart of the neighborhoods of Palm Springs.
This tour benefits youth participation in local Parks and Recreation programs as well as neighborhood organization development.

Homes are open to tour from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Homes are all located in Palm Springs, across various neighborhoods - this is a self-driving tour.
Restrooms in homes on tour are not available for use.
There are some exterior and/or interior steps.
This tour is for guests 12 and older.
