Albert Frey's Palm Springs Mini-Coach Tour

Albert Frey was a modest man of major importance to American modern architecture. The first disciple of Le Corbusier to cross the Atlantic, Frey might have become a household name had he not found a home and a successful career in the remote desert village of Palm Springs. This tour, guided by long-time local architectural ambassadors David Dixon (Oct. 21) and Trevor O’Donnell (Oct. 22), will focus on homes and buildings that Frey designed throughout the city, and on the talented modernist architects who worked alongside him to develop the now world-famous desert modern style. Limited to 22 guests, the tour will travel in a comfortable, climate-controlled coach through Palm Springs neighborhoods to visit and discuss Frey’s remarkable works, and to consider how his influence shaped the city.

This tour is designed for curious adult learners; it is not appropriate for children.
No pets, other than service dogs, are allowed on the mini-coach.
Free parking available.
Handicap parking is available. This tour is not wheelchair accessible.
